<p>1.	Promotion of your product</p>
<p>You can joint venture with a partner and have them promote your product for a set commission (this is very similar to an affiliate program); you might also promote one of your partners products at a later date.</p>
<p>2.	Creation of a new product</p>
<p>You can joint venture with someone and create a whole new web site or product. Many of the most successful marketers to this since two minds are better than one and they can both work on their strong suits.</p>
<p>3.	List building</p>
<p>Another popular joint venture is helping one another build each other’s list. You could both simply send an email out to your lists and cross-promote one another. You’d get new people from your partners list and they’d go new people from your list.</p>
<p>The best joint ventures are a combination of all three, brainstorm ways where you can do all three for you joint venture partners and you will find that more of them will want to promote your offers.</p>
<p>Here’s an example of a way you could combine all three.</p>
<p>1.	Ask potential joint venture partners to contribute to an eBook – this creates a new product<br />
2.	Have them donate a product when someone purchases this eBook – this is the list building element<br />

<p>Another way of doing a list building joint venture is to create a product together to be given away for free. By combining your traffic generation efforts, you can build a huge list.</p>
<p>You can also exchange banner ads on each other&#8217;s Thank You pages so that your list is built on complete autopilot. Yet another way to build each other&#8217;s list is by publishing each other&#8217;s testimonials on your website. Of course, the testimonials would have to be a genuine recommendation. All these are great free ways to build a list quickly.</p>
<p>Of course, you&#8217;d want do joint ventures only with marketers who have a similar list size. Once your list size grows, you can approach other marketers to do ad swaps and they would be more willing to do one.</p>
